Live In
At MGN Healthcare Services, we know that it may become necessary for a client to have a live-in health professional. We provide this service as a combination of In-home Support and Personal Care services. The services are, however, provided by a care-giver who remains in the client’s home for the duration of the work time ordered i.e. from one to seven days a week. Live-in services are as follows:
- Maintain the client’s residence and property in a clean, sanitary, and safe environment.
- Perform other routine housekeeping duties such as making beds, changing linens, and light shopping when authorized.
- Provide companionship; assist with meal preparation and laundry for client.
- Provide casual cosmetic assistance, such as brushing the client’s hair, assisting with make-up, filing and polishing nails, with the exception of clipping nails for diabetic patients.
- We assist the client with ambulation, eating, bathing, dressing, other personal hygiene care, as well as other activities of daily living.
- Report unusual incidents and changes in the client’s condition to the nursing supervisor.
